What does an orthodontic treatment consist of? An important and decisive stage of the orthodontic treatment involves proper and well-organized examination of a patient, exact diagnostics and choosing of the most rational methods of treatment.
As you know, an orthodontic treatment is not one-instantaneous and short one. It includes several stages.
Diagnostics in our clinic is based on different methods of treatment. In our clinical practice we mainly use the most modern X-ray methods (ORPG and TRG) and also measuring on diagnostic models. Proper diagnostics guarantee 70% of success in treatment.
Sometimes we hear complaints from some patients visiting our clinic for the first time that they or their friends suffering from abnormalities of bite having passed treatment course in other clinics had achieved no expected effect. We take into consideration these facts too. Therefore setting the aim of orthodontic treatment firstly we must examine the patient, take into account data of examination, facial characteristics or features, changes connected with age and concomitant diseases.
Without all these points it is impossible to achieve good results.
The most important conditions of successful orthodontic treatment are the followings: patience and collaboration between a patient and a doctor.
